Do you love book covers? I do, a lot. As a European book blogger I stumble all the time over different national book covers for the same book. I was and am still very much fascinated by this and therefore created this feature where international book covers are presented and compared to each other.

I stumbled over Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies series at the end of last year and asked myself: Why didn’t I come across these amazing books earlier? I love this intriguing series which was published long before it was “in” to do dystopian! It’s also pretty obvious that these books are around for a while as there already 3 different editions printed in the UK and two in the US.

So which ones are the best? That’s a hard one, again. I really like the new US and the 2012 UK versions, but I also appreciate the German covers. They mirror quite exactly the content of the books, so I think I pick them as my favourites!
